Hiking tour and visit to the volcano in San Antonio and Teneguía. Departures on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:30 PM and last 3h30.
The word that best describes this municipality in La Palma is volcano. There have been 4 eruptions in the last 343 years. Imagine how hard life must have been for people who live there due to lack of water, difficult weather and volcanic eruptions.
We will go on a medium level hike where we will make stops to interpret the area from San Antonio towards Teneguía.
The route will be around 8-9km. This is a medium level hike but will depend on weather conditions, hours of daylight, accessibility and obtaining all required permits.
The final route and return time will be confirmed after checking the access conditions and assessment of the area.
This activity will give you a fun volcanological experience with photo opportunities and natural interpretation. We also get to see a special sunset that leads to a beautiful night with lots of stars in a municipality with the European starlight certification.
