Spring (April - June) and early autumn (September - October) offer pleasant weather that's perfect for exploring the city while dodging tourist crowds.
July & August make up the busy season, with temperatures often over 35°C / 95°F. While these months bring the heat, they're also prime time to cool off by swimming in the river or waterfalls.
Finding a Place to Stay in Mostar
From boutique guesthouses with views over the most famous bridge in the city's Old Town, to modern apartments close by some of Mostar's top attractions, there really is an option to suit your budget. If you want to experience all the restaurants, shops and nightclubs on offer in the area around the Old Bridge, then staying here will put you right where things happen. But bear in mind that this part of town can get pretty busy (and quite loud) in the summer months; if peace is important to you, try booking somewhere a little out of the way from the historic center.
